Applications to Practice

• Consider how knowledge of the infectious disease chain, and chain of infections can be used in nursing practice.
• Show examples of effective strategies to prevent the spread of a communicable illness.
• How can nursing research and the epidemiology of the disease chosen inform evidence-based practices in management?

VI. Conclusion

• Write a summary of your paper’s main points
• What are the implications for Nursing Practice, Research, and Education?
• Give recommendations on future research and practices in the management of communicable diseases
