Florence Nightingale would be my choice if I had to choose a healthcare theorist who could help me build a framework to care for staff and patients. Her contributions to the field were groundbreaking. Florence Nightingale’s pioneering nursing work has made an impact on the healthcare industry. Her renowned environment theory, which is based on cleanliness, ventilation and lighting to improve outcomes for patients was influential.

Her four nursing principles, justice, temperance, fortitude, and prudence are also still applicable today, as they stress the importance of competent, compassionate, and ethical care.
