In any given ethical dilemma, it is always important to consider the interests of all parties involved and determine if the potential actions taken would be in line with one’s own moral code. Some people might feel that accepting a bribe, even if it’s illegal or unethical, is acceptable because the opportunity to gain financially justifies it. Others may feel that this is wrong, and shouldn’t be done no matter how much money can be made.

Another common scenario involves lying about one’s qualifications or experience in order to get a job or promotion; many people might argue that doing so would be acceptable as it provides an individual with economic security and better opportunities for their future. However, lying on resumes can have serious implications such as putting already stretched resources at risk due to inexperience or misrepresentation of one’s abilities. These decisions ultimately come down to individual judgements and whether or not they believe that each person can make a long-term ethical and moral decision.
