The focus of my selected organization on the promotion of a trust culture is one of its greatest contributions towards worker safety and health. In order to create an atmosphere where employees feel respected, valued and supported, the organization implemented a number of initiatives, including team building activities and regular employee reviews. It has created a safe environment where staff can speak out about safety concerns or discomfort levels without being afraid of negative consequences.
All new employees are also provided with extensive training so that they understand the job requirements, regulations of their industry and how to work safely. The organization also stresses the importance of safe work practices through incentives, such as recognition or rewards for staff that follow rules and procedures. The company also conducts regular surveys with its staff to determine satisfaction and to identify issues which could be resolved to enhance overall employee wellbeing.
The organization that took these measures to create a safer work environment, through education and training programs and trust-building initiatives, has hopefully made an impact in employee safety and health.
