One hand, it can be beneficial because nonconformity encourages the use of critical thinking to solve problems and may result in new ideas. But it can cause chaos if improperly managed.

If a health care provider fails to follow medical protocol when treating a patient or does not adhere to the standard operating procedures established by their employer, this can lead to both legal and financial repercussions on themselves as well as for the company they work for. This is due to malpractice or negligence claims.
