Stressors in my life include the transition to a new career, working from home due to pandemic and financial uncertainty. I expect that as I start my new job in the next 3 to 6 months, some stressors may remain and others will dissipate. Although adjusting to my new job may be challenging, I expect it will get easier as time goes on and when I build up relationships with other colleagues.
Likewise, if restrictions on working from home are eased up, it is possible to relieve some of the stress associated with this type of work. For example maintaining a balance between your personal and professional life or dealing with tech issues. Additionally, having greater clarity regarding income expectations can also help relieve some of the pressure arising from financial concerns since it provides more stability about one’s future prospects for earning potential. Actively seeking strategies for managing your stress is important, regardless of the source. This will ensure any problems that arise during this period don’t impede long-term progress.
