In recent years there have been a number of medical insurance proposals which aim to increase access & affordability for patients whilst also improving overall standards of care. They include:
1) Medicare For All (MFA): This program seeks to provide citizens with universal healthcare coverage by having the government assume full responsibility for financing/administration of services.
High Deductible Medical Plans (HDHP): HDHPs offer lower monthly premiums but higher deductibles. This allows individuals to choose their treatments more freely while receiving financial protection.
Tax credits: These are tax credits that can be given to eligible families or individuals. They may then use them for the payment of insurance premiums, copays and other costs. Thus, it is easier for the family to budget over time.
In conclusion, these are just some of the latest medical insurance proposals that have come about recently in order to help improve access & affordability through various means so that everyone can benefit from quality care regardless of their financial situation.
