My experience in motivational interviews this past week helped me to better help my friend address the guidelines to prevent the health problems of the women who are in the scenarios. I also learned that patients need to be empowered to make decisions about their health. They should receive non-judgmental advice that encourages her to look at herself, explore values and beliefs, and choose what she wants to do.

Scenario 2

In the second case, a woman of 44 years old was diagnosed recently with breast cancer. The woman has undergone a biopsy and is waiting for the results. This discussion aims to use motivational interviewing techniques with the woman in this scenario.
