Introduction Paragraph The film World Trade Center, a biographical drama from 2006, is based on events that occurred in September 11, 2001. The movie focuses on John McLoughlin, a Port Authority officer and Will Jimeno. They become trapped in the rubble when both towers fall. The two Port Authority officers are finally rescued, with only minor injury after nearly 24 hour of being trapped. This movie is inspired by 9/11, when hijacked aircraft crashed into New York City buildings, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. The result was mass destruction and thousands of fatalities, including firefighters, policemen, first responders, as well as those inside the buildings themselves. In response to 9/11 President George W Bush declared a “war on terror” which initiated world-wide changes mainly targeting Middle Eastern countries where terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda had been known to exist. There were many different perspectives on what actually happened, including official reports and news articles as well as inductive conclusions made by people who helped with the rescue effort or survivors. People also made a variety of evaluations about the events leading up to and following 9/11. They wanted to know if proper measures were taken or whether more could have been done in terms of communication among agencies during a crisis. People from all across America responded to this perception in different ways, whether it was by showing support for the first responders with signs at home or by volunteering at firehouses around NYC. Others thought that the attack should only be treated as an act committed by criminals, while some believed it was an act a war. Protagonists included John McLoughlin & Will Jimeno specifically but other heroes include first responders like firefighters , police officers & medical personnel who all risked their lives during evacuation & rescue efforts while villains include those responsible for planning & carrying out attacks directly using airplanes full passengers as weapons against innocent civilians .Conclusion: Perception & belief play a huge role in this story since they can drastically alter our understanding & views regarding specific events like 9/11 We must remain open minded when piecing together evidence involving catastrophes such as these so we can form concrete conclusions that will help us understand why these tragedies occur.
