In Part 1 of this module’s Assignment, you were asked to begin work on an Agenda Comparison Grid to compare the impact of the current/sitting U.S. president and the two previous presidents’ agendas on the healthcare item you selected for study.

When it comes to health policy, presidents have varying priorities. This can result in hotly debated topics. Some presidents focus on increasing access to healthcare via programs such as the Affordable Care act (ACA), while other may be more concerned with reducing costs and improving quality.

When comparing the impact of the current/sitting U.S. president and the two previous presidents’ agendas on a healthcare item, it’s important to consider factors like the policies they have implemented or proposed, their success in achieving their healthcare goals, and the impact of those policies on different stakeholders, including patients, healthcare providers, and insurers. A comparison grid can help organize this information and provide a clearer picture of how each president’s agenda has affected the healthcare item in question.
