We presented an overview to our elected officials of the health care concern we support. This issue affected individuals within our community, and we discussed possible solutions. Our ideas were well received by the elected official, who expressed his willingness to work with us to find ways to increase access to high-quality care.

It was our suggestion that the government create a taskforce comprised of community and medical professionals to research and formulate a solution. We recommended looking at options, such as expanding Medicaid and providing tax credit or subsidies to those without insurance.

It is crucial to keep advocating this cause by interacting with community members and building their support. We will also need to monitor any progress made by the elected official’s task force while also pushing them when necessary in order to ensure tangible progress is being made towards resolving this critical healthcare concern.
