Please review the websites I have posted with this assignment.  The first document is entitled “Focus on Health Reform” written by the Henry Kaiser Family Foundation.  The second website is the healthcare.gov site on Preventive Services Covered under the Affordable Care Act.  You may use other sources to prepare your 1 Pager.  After reviewing information on both sites, please choose one (1) Covered Service under each of the three (3) groups:  Services for Adults; Services for Woman, Including Pregnant Women and Services for Children. 

Services for adults: Immunizations. Affordable Care Act mandates that insurers cover vaccines recommended by their doctors without any copayments, coinsurances or deductibles. The Affordable Care Act requires insurers to cover recommended vaccines without a copayment, coinsurance or deductible.

Services for Women, Including Pregnant Women: Well-Woman Visit. All health plans must provide an annual preventive care visit that includes a comprehensive physical exam specifically tailored to women’s health needs. This can include breast and cervical cancer screenings as well family planning assessments.

Services for Children: Behavioral Assessments & Counseling Services (Under Age 19). Mental health services, such as sessions with psychologists or psychiatrists licensed to practice as professionals as well as behavioral screenings used to diagnose disorders of the mind in children younger than 19 years old must be covered by all essential health plans at no additional cost.
