For this two-way ANOVA without replication, I chose to analyse the effects of gender on a person’s ability to solve complex problems. This variable was chosen as it is an important factor when it comes to evaluating one’s potential – both in terms of their educational prospects but also in terms of getting ahead professionally.

It was found that men were more capable of solving complicated problems. The findings suggest that gender plays a major role in abstract cognitive tasks.

Further research is needed to understand why there are differences. For example, we may have to take into account biological or cultural factors to get a more complete picture. It is also worth noting that any conclusion drawn from such tests should be used with caution as each individual has their own unique set of abilities and circumstance – meaning no single test can accurately measure intelligence levels across genders.

It appears that the gender has some impact on problem-solving skills, although more research is needed before conclusive conclusions can be drawn. Regardless of these findings everyone should strive to achieve their full potential whether they are female or male.
