Introduction This report is a focus on diversity in RACE, and China. Understanding the RACE’s challenges and the implications of ethical and legal issues in China are essential for the expansion strategy. The report will discuss ways that an inclusive culture can be created.
RACE Diversity may have some difficulties in China because of cultural differences. China, for example, is homogeneous and the racial mix is less prevalent than in America. RACE could face difficulties in getting accepted by locals and finding employees of the same ethnicity. The language barrier is another challenge RACE could face. RACE workers may find it difficult to adjust to China’s culture and language.
China’s laws protect people from discrimination on the basis of race, gender and other factors. Chinese employers are still known to hire certain people based on their race or gender. RACE workers may be discriminated against in the workplace. Also, ethical considerations are important. Some Chinese clients may only do business with people of their own race, so RACE staff could be excluded.
The Techniques of an Inclusive Culture in the Workplace: It is important for a manager to foster an inclusive culture. To achieve this, diversity training programs are one technique. They can also help them appreciate and understand other cultures. This will lead to an inclusive workplace. Encourage open communication as another technique. In creating a culture where employees can express their concerns and thoughts, managers are able to promote inclusivity.
Conclusions: RACE’s diversity may have some difficulties in China because of cultural differences. These include a lack or racial variety and language barriers. China does have laws against discrimination. Managers can encourage an inclusive culture in the workplace by encouraging communication and implementing diversity programs. RACE will be able to expand in China successfully by promoting inclusivity and addressing the challenges.
