Participation 2 | Nursing homework help
In this term I’ve gained significant knowledge about nursing management and care. The greatest thing I learned was to use evidence-based practices (EBPs) for daily nursing management and care.
EBP refers to a method of healthcare in which clinical decisions are made based upon the most current evidence and clinical expertise as well as patient preferences. This term, I was able to identify and evaluate the best evidence available to help guide my clinical decisions. By incorporating recent research findings and patient care interventions into nursing plans, I was able to learn how EBP can be implemented in everyday nursing care.
I also gained knowledge about leadership, and the best way to use community resources in order to improve outcomes for patients. I learned how to work with other professionals in the healthcare field, communicate with families and patients effectively, and be an advocate for our patients’ needs.
As for my term-long objective goals, I can proudly say that most were met. My critical thinking skills and my decision-making abilities improved, I developed my leadership capabilities, and my community resource knowledge expanded. There were some areas that I could have improved, like time management or prioritization. Even so, I think that I will benefit from the new skills and knowledge gained during this course in future nursing.
The knowledge and skills that I have gained from applying EBP to nursing practice, leadership and community resources has been the most valuable learning for me this term. It was an honor to be able to receive guidance and support from experts in the field of education and nursing throughout the course.
