1. Please choose a name for the group and an image that reflects it. Explain your reasoning. Name and illustrate the subgroup. You can also explain your rationale.
2. Purnell’s Model constructs and sub-group information (n = 12): Research and analyze Purnell’s Model of Cultural Competence, identifying the 12 constructs. You will need to apply each construct and give relevant information.
3. Subgroups and local community issues: Talk about the subgroups you chose and their presence in the community. Issues that affect your subgroup should be identified and explained.
4. Include a summary of your recommendations to provide culturally appropriate nursing care to the subgroup you selected. In step 3, identify specific strategies to be used in order to resolve the identified issues.

Include at least 5 articles from scholarly journals (published in the last five years), or legal primary sources (statutes and court opinions) into your project.
