By implementing international treaties and laws that reflect these standards, poor countries can still be held accountable to the same standards of human rights as wealthy countries. The United Nations Charter, for example, is a document that outlines the basic freedoms and rights to which all countries should adhere regardless of economic status. Other global frameworks, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights(UDHR), provide additional guidance in regards to preserving human dignity and other topics.
Furthermore, many organizations—such as The International Criminal Court or Amnesty International—can help monitor compliance in regards these standards in order ensure they’re being followed properly. They can use diplomatic/legal means to hold the government accountable for violations.
Finally, education initiatives geared towards raising awareness on issues related human rights—especially amongst young people—is also essential; this could involve introducing topics such as gender equality or minority protection into school curriculums in order ensure everyone has access information necessary make informed decisions about their lives and those around them.
While there are challenges in holding the poorer nations to the same standard as wealthy ones, it is important for all countries to strive toward protecting fundamental freedoms regardless of socio-economic status.
