My philosophy of ethics centers around the idea that ethical behavior is derived from an individual’s internal moral compass. For me, it means that everyone has unique values and beliefs that inform how they view right and wrong. It is important to consider our personal codes and the impact of our actions on others.
I think that we should also consider all the stakeholders when making ethical decisions, and not just our own. This means taking into account how our choices can impact potential beneficiaries or victims when making decisions – even if it might cost us more time or effort upfront if we want to make sure everyone is treated fairly and equitably. Finaly, it’s important to stay open-minded during ethical discussions. There are so many perspectives that can be considered when tackling any issue. Understanding where others come from will ultimately result in a more productive discussion and better outcomes.
