In order to examine existing procedures related to these essential public healthcare services in a hospital during an emergency situation it is important for hospitals have established procedures related to each service such as developing policies & plans that support individual/community level efforts , enforcing laws/regulations related protecting heath/ensuring safety , ensuring accessibilty of resources needed by individuals/populations for personal/population based care etc . In addition, hospitals need to have procedures in place that monitor the status of their patients, diagnose any risks or hazards associated with certain diseases, and inform staff about protocols for responding in an emergency.
