Peer 1:
You will need to find one article per each of the two economic theories you have chosen.
In the situation I chose, there is an absence of communication within an organisation. There is a lack of communication between the marketing and sales departments, which leads to misunderstandings and delays when responding to customer inquiries. The lack of communication also led to confusion in pricing policies, resulting in inconsistent prices across different sales channels.
In order to address this issue it would be important for the organization’s leadership team to bridge the gap between these two departments by creating better systems for sharing information and actively encouraging collaboration among employees. Frequent feedback sessions can also help to identify potential improvement areas so corrective actions can be taken. A clear set of guidelines and protocols will help to ensure everyone is on the same wavelength when it comes expectations.
In the end, cross-functional communications are essential to achieving desired results. Organizations must prioritize this area in order to achieve success over time.

A software tool that tracks and evaluates patient data could be a technology to improve my EBP implementation and outcome. This tool allows clinicians easily to collect, store, analyse and report key information about the implementation evidence-based practice such as patient demographics. diagnosis codes, medication patterns, etc. It would allow them to identify quickly trends or areas of need for improvement.
There are many benefits to using these tools, in addition to the fact that they simplify data analysis. These include providing immediate feedback on outcome measures which can then be used as a quality assurance tool; decreasing paperwork for staff; maintaining accurate records needed by regulatory authorities; and possibly even assisting with cost saving depending on the amount of manual effort previously needed when handling large datasets.
Overall, I feel that software tools such this can dramatically increase the effectiveness of healthcare professionals in implementing evidence-based methods. They also improve accuracy which makes them open to exploring viable options further.
