Dobutamine, a drug used in the treatment of severe heart failure or cardiogenic shock as well as certain cardiac stress tests. The students in this class will prepare a presentation about the pharmacological treatment of a specific disease, or the application of certain drugs or groups of medications. The professor must approve the title of each student’s presentation before the due date. It must also identify the actual/potential patient effects and pharmacodynamic characteristics.
