The EHR used by my facility was a system that I felt I had been adequately and appropriately trained. Before I began working here, we had a comprehensive training program to ensure that all staff members were familiar with the system’s features and how to use them properly. It included both hands-on training and classroom instruction to ensure that all staff members were comfortable working with the new technology. The trainers also provided multiple chances for asking questions.
We were always able to get help from someone at the clinic if there was a problem or if needed assistance navigating certain software sections. If needed, we could also access a knowledgebase where instructions were available on how to perform various tasks like filing information about patients or creating reports. It took me some time to become comfortable with this EHR due to its complex nature, but I feel confident now that thanks to the training and support provided by my facility, I can use it effectively.
