The ancient Egyptians left monuments like the Sphinx, and pyramids that are popular tourist attractions to this day. Meanwhile Filipino culture has also evolved significantly since ancient times; although there wasn’t a single unified country until 1898 when the Philippines became a US territory after being colonized by Spain for more than 300 years. The modern Filipinos adopted many styles from America and other nations, while still maintaining traditional values. These include respecting the elders as well as faith in God.
