The video intro did keep me interested. For my first education session to be engaging, I’d use visuals like videos, slideshows, or infographics. Additionally, I would also include frequent opportunities for audience participation either through polls/surveys or simply having them answer questions/discussion points related to what is being taught—so they can immediately apply their newfound knowledge in practice rather than just passively absorbing information. By breaking up the lecture-style delivery with more engaging elements—I believe people are more likely to stay actively involved throughout the duration of my presentation.
