The effects of communication between nurse and patient on satisfaction is a nursing problem I am interested in, which is also suited for quantitative research. It would be possible to collect data about how frequently nurses ask patients about their symptoms, or educate them on their condition. This information could then be correlated with the patient satisfaction score. In addition, the length and quality could be assessed to see if they are associated with patient satisfaction.
