My ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks is one of my skills. Over many years, I have developed this skill through various activities, courses, and assignments. While in high-school, I developed the ability to manage my time better by setting up study calendars. This allowed me to schedule specific blocks of work or test preparation. I learned how to manage large projects by breaking them down into small, clear chunks. Summer internships exposed me to new methods for task delegation and group collaboration, which increased my efficiency in working with groups.

Effective communication is another important skill I’ve acquired. In the past years I developed an important life skill by taking several public-speaking classes and attending workshops on interpersonal communications. In addition, I learned valuable skills in persuasive writing and argumentation through extracurricular activities. Internships exposed me to professional settings that required me to present ideas clearly and concisely.

A third skill I’ve developed is the ability to solve problems. An internship helped me develop the ability to quickly identify solutions, even in difficult or complex situations. In addition, I found that independent research assignments requiring extensive data analyses helped to sharpen my analytical skills.
