As a newly graduated nurse, I found my initial acculturation process quite daunting. It was not just about learning a great deal of information fast, but adapting to the different norms and styles expected by co-workers to become part of the team. Since everyone was so helpful and supportive, this process got easier over time.
My colleague who recently joined our team had similar experiences although his case might have been even more challenging due fact that he had previously worked in a different department for many years; despite these changes he still managed make transition fairly quickly hence why it’s important ensure all relevant information has been obtained prior taking any steps moving forward.
In conclusion, understanding how culture works within given organisation can prove beneficial when trying become part of its fabric over time; however no two people’s journeys will ever be completely same hence why being aware of such differences is essential success regardless context involved.
