Demand for beverages with nutritional value, rather than simply refreshing drinks is on the increase. Moreover, stevia and other alternative sweeteners are becoming popular because they have a low sugar content in comparison to sugar substitutes.
In the specific category I have chosen – coffee – there is a trend towards specialty coffee drinks. These drinks are becoming increasingly popular because of their unique aromas and flavors, which contain less caffeine than traditional coffee. This can keep consumers alert without the side effects that come with excessive caffeine consumption.
It is clear to see that consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the health benefits they can get from certain products. As result demand for non-alcoholic options steadily rising particularly where natural/functional ingredients involved resulting shift away from sugary sodas energy drinks market today—with various opportunities arise those willing capitalize upon new trends moving forward.
