The results revealed that there was a clear lack of open channels for two-way communication between staff & management making it difficult for any issues to be addressed efficiently. There was also an apparent breakdown in the team dynamic as members of staff felt that their contribution wasn’t valued and rewarded appropriately, leading to feelings resentment.
Furthermore, the assessment also uncovered that workloads were becoming increasingly unmanageable as staff were struggling to keep up with demands resulting in longer working hours & higher stress levels. The assessment also revealed that overall levels of job satisfaction had declined due to the combination of these factors, making it hard for employees to stay engaged in current circumstances.
Conclusion: The assessment of work environments provided useful insights on how to improve different aspects within the organisation. We can now make the changes necessary in order to create better conditions for our employees.
