Preventing workplace violence in health and social services
In addressing those opposed to my views, it’s important to maintain respect and be open-minded. I should also provide proof for the reasons why a change is needed. It would be helpful to outline any budget adjustments or cuts that may be made to free up money if someone doesn’t support an idea due to a lack of funds. In addition, citing examples of other organizations that have successfully implemented changes similar to mine could strengthen my case and demonstrate its practicality.
In addition to this, taking the time to actively listen and understand another person’s point of view is essential since it shows that I am willing to consider their opinion even if I disagree with it. It may also be beneficial to suggest a compromise that demonstrates respect for both sides while offering an alternative solution. I will be able to present my case more persuasively if necessary if I can address opposing views with respect and consideration.
