In order to present this vision successfully, I will use a two-pronged approach which includes both top down and bottom up strategies. At the top level I plan on engaging with leaders from each department so they understand how this culture will benefit our entire healthcare system; this should help facilitate buy-in from stakeholders who may otherwise be resistant due fear of change or potential loss power/control. At the same time, I also want reach out directly staff members across all levels in order provide resources/encouragement as they transition into new ways working.
Overall by joining forces we can create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and secure while still having access best practices available; doing so not only allows us fulfill our obligation towards providing quality care but also lets us put patient safety first which should become ultimate goal for any successful medical institution.
