ABC Corporation had a suspected case of sexual harassment. Jane Doe had repeatedly been the target of unwanted advances made by her supervisor, a male, over several months. Despite Jane constantly rejecting his advances and asking him to stop, he continued to make comments about her physical appearance as well as inappropriate jokes which made her feel uncomfortable & unwelcome in the office environment.

Sexual harassment in the workplace can have a negative impact. It creates a hostile environment among staff due to tension between employees. It also caused a decrease in morale among other workers who were privy to what was going on – many felt that such behavior should not be tolerated and yet nothing seemed to be done about it until further complaints were raised by other female employees working under similar circumstances.
