Destroy the Affordable Care Act
To ensure the continued success of my organisation, I believe it’s important to focus on the three following areas.
1) Financial sustainability. It’s important to find ways of reducing costs and maintaining the same level of service. You could also re-negotiate existing contracts or explore alternative funding sources.
2) Staff morale and engagement: Without the mandate employees may lose enthusiasm or become disengaged from their work – something which could lead to decreased productivity. In order to motivate employees and create a positive workplace, it’s important that you come up with creative strategies.
When faced with unexpected obstacles, the ability to adapt quickly can be the key to success. Open-mindedness is key when it comes to embracing innovative ideas and technologies. Give them the option to select the kind of insurance that they want.
Cost, accessibility and quality can all be measured to determine the outcome of each solution/position represented by ethical theories. With a universal healthcare system, costs would be shared more evenly among citizens as everyone’s contributions would help cover the costs for everyone else – resulting in lower overall costs for individuals and families than private health insurance. Access to care could be easier with a universal health system, no matter what the person’s income is or their circumstances. With private insurance, the cost of coverage may prevent people from receiving adequate medical care or from accessing it. When it comes to the quality of healthcare, universal coverage could provide everyone with basic health services, while private health insurance may give more choice to individuals in terms of their provider and level of cover.
