The initiative I propose is to increase the number nurses who pursue careers in public health. This initiative is designed to help improve the public health of communities by increasing the number and quality of healthcare professionals that are trained in addressing any issues they may encounter.

It is important to understand the dynamics of each situation in order to determine which application would be most appropriate under certain circumstances. It would create additional job opportunities which will help to alleviate nursing shortages in some areas. This all shows why it is important to promote public health nursing amongst existing practitioners, no matter the obstacles that may arise along the way.
