Are we buying “health” in the USA healthcare system? If we are buying it, is health a human right?

We are purchasing health through the USA healthcare system. As recognized by United Nations law and international recognition, health is a fundamental human right. The right of every person to receive necessary medical care should not depend on their location or their income. This right, however, must be supported by adequate resources in order to provide quality healthcare. It includes investing in public health and ensuring access to affordable therapies. All people should be able to enjoy the same quality of life, regardless of whether they can afford it.
