1. The Clinical Research Interest Area:

Mental health is your area of clinical interest. In 350 words, you should describe it. Explain why this is your area of interest and the reasons behind it. Discuss any experiences that you may have had or observed which led to your interest in this field.

2. Search Questions

Present your research question based on the preliminary literature review and interview with an expert clinician. Your research questions should be clear, focused and able to be answered by evidence-based research. You should ask questions that are related to mental illness and be guided by an expert clinician’s interview and literature review.

Make sure that the research questions you use are measurable and concise, and they are meant to tackle specific mental health issues. Your research question should be no more that five. The research questions you choose should allow for an in-depth and clear study. However, they must also be broad enough to cover the entire topic.
