or surgical condition will be completed. Your client may be someone from the community
(family member, friend, co-worker, etc) or from the clinical setting. You will discuss their overall health and conduct a thorough nutritional assessment. After
analyzing their situation and completing your research, you will identify their nutritional risk
factors and strategies that may be instituted to optimize their nutritional health. You will identify
when and how you would evaluate if the recommended strategies are effective. Lastly, you will
identify how you will integrate the important nutritional concepts you have learned into your
nursing practice. If I don’t have access to the lab report of the patient for whatever reason; perhaps I don’t have the patient’s consent I can simply add what I would assume to be the findings based upon their diagnosis, medical condition, etc.
